Samsung had just announced the launch of it’s much awaited next Galaxy phone today in an event at London. The phone will be named as Galaxy S3 and will be the successor of extremely popular Galaxy S2. Galaxy S3 is being rumoured from past few months by various websites in the form of leaked images and specifications.
Most of the leaked specification are actually true and the new Galaxy S3 features a Quad Core CPU. The benchmarks for Galaxy S3 are already here and is shown in the images below

Quadrant testing is based on measuring the performance of the GPU present in the smartphone. From the benchmarks given below one can clearly see that the GPU present in Galaxy S3 is more powerful than HTC One X, it’s arch rival.

European Pricing
Initially only contract based pricing is revealed that too is applicable for carriers in UK only. Various carriers or operators from UK including Vodafone, Orange and O2 had already revealed the contract based pricing for Galaxy S3 smartphone. In Europe SIM free version is priced at 500 Euro which is approximately Rs. 34,516 in Indian currency.
Indian launch of Galaxy S3 and it’s expected Indian price
Well most you must already known the fact that Samsung in a tweet had openly revealed that they will not be releasing ICS based Galaxy Nexus for the Indian market. Than after Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy S3 i think is the most awaited phone for Indian users. Galaxy S3 will be priced between Rs.35,000 to Rs. 38,000 as per the initial reports.
