Raspberry Pi as you all know is one of the world’s smallest computer that can run Linux perfectly and can also run HD movies without any lag! Now the same device is going to get the Android 4.0 ICS as its main operating system. The lone developer of this little PC is working on a Android ICS port for this baby computer and as per the latest reports all is going well till now.
Raspberry Pi which came into the limelight because of its small size. It is powered by a 700 MHz CPU which is based on the ARM architecture. Other specs include 4 ports namely Ethernet, 2 USB and 1 HDMI. It also feature a 256 MB memory chip and a SD card slot.
This tiny PC was launched for sale on this February only and due to its high demand it goes out of stock on most of the resellers website. As per the developer most of the Android ICS features are working perfectly on the device except for some which he was trying his best to resolve as soon as possible.
Once Android ICS gets ported to Raspberry Pi, users can connect this small PC to their HDTV to enjoy Android ICS on their big screens.
