AS per the latest reports, Comcast buys out the complete stake of Microsoft in the news website MSNBC.COM for a price of around 300 million $.
After acquiring Microsoft’s stake in the website, Comcast changed the domain name of the new website from MSNBC.COM to NBCNEWS.COM.
Microsoft and Comcast had started a joint venture in both cable and news website business. Microsoft after exit out from the cable business but retains 50% stake in the news website.
that is definitely one helluva of a sale.
Is the domain also included in the deal?
