Rumor: Apple HDTV to feature Retina display

The latest rumor floating around the web world is that Apple is going to launch their own HDTV which will feature their much coveted Retina display technology.

Retina display is popular for its sharpness and color accuracy. The new HDTV will feature the Full HD resolution instead of the vague resolution which Apple uses for its iPad.

If this rumored HDTV comes with Full HD resolution than there will be negligible difference between this and already available HDTV in the market. Retina display usually have problems in displaying plain text and video game content.

The latest which can revolutionize the TV industry is the 4K resolution TVs which are presently available at a very steep price.

Retina technology from Apple is definitely over hyped tech enthusiasts and media. It is nothing but a screen with more PPI. Display of Galaxy S3 is much better than iPhone 4S. Read any review site and you will know what i am saying.
