LG is among the top smartphone manufacturers which have introduced their quad core based smartphones this year. In 2012 LG launched Optimus 4X which is a quad core based smartphone powered by Nvidia’s Tegra 3 Chipset.
Now as per the latest rumors LG is developing their own quad core chipset which will be based on Cortex A9 instead of latest Cortex A15.
Now a new rumor claims that LG will launch a quad core based smartphone codenamed F180. F180 will be powered by Latest Krait based quad core chipset and will feature latest top of the line Adreno 320 GPU. It will have a massive 2 GB of RAM and this all package comes with LTE support! Screen size is 5 inch HD IPS panel which indicates that it will belong to so called phablet category.
