Apple as you all know is one of the world’s biggest smartphone manufacturer and is quite popular because of their gadgets like iPhone and iPad and operating system software IOS. But they still have negligible presence in India.

In the latest interview with Apple CEO Tim Cook, he said that Apple can become popular in India when they start selling their goods directly in India. According to Tim Cook that in spite of India’s green signal to FDI in single brand retail, companies like Apple cannot make full benefit of it due to the requirement of sourcing 30% of goods from India.

Tim Cook is also of the view that there are many important markets for Apple other than India which needs more focus.
