Want to own an Apple iPhone?
Than perhaps this is most right time to shell out your hard earned money to buy your first iPhone in the form of iPhone 3GS. Aircel which is one of the main distributor for Apple’s iPhone in India slashed the price of age old iPhone 3GS and bring it down to just Rs. 9,999.Apple iPhone 3GS is sub 3rd generation smartphone from Apple which is running on a dilapidated 600 MHz processor and just 256 MB of RAM. But at this price these all negative points can be put aside as there are no smartphones available in this price range which can stand against the might of iPhone 3GS.
Apple iPhone 3GS is still getting updates from Apple and the latest version of IOS that is 5.5 is completely compatible with this phone. However as per the reports it is possible that 3GS may not get the upcoming IOS 6 update due to low end hardware configuration.
This scheme is however only from Aircel. There is no news of price reduction from other telecom operator that is Airtel.
There is one loop hole here which i think you have not mentioned.
After you have purchased Rs. 9999 iPhone from Aircel than you are basically entering into a contract with them.You have pay Rs. 3000 for 3G and 2500 Rs. for 2G data as per the contract
