Samsung revealed the all new Galaxy S21 series smartphones

Just few hours back Samsung revealed the all new Galaxy S21 series smartphones which we have been waiting for quite a bit of time now. Though we do have accurate rumours this time around as far as the design of smartphones is concerned. Also it is worth noting that all the smartphones of the S21 series will be 5G compatible (both mmWave and sub 6GHz technologies). As usual the Non US version of Galaxy S21 will feature the all new Exynos series chipset that is Exynos 2100 and the US version will come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888. Like the previous Galaxy S20 series the performance difference between the US and Non US version this time around is insignificant. Instead if we believe the rumours around the performance of Exynos 2100, it seems to be beating the SD 888 in variety of benchmarks. But take this information with a grain of salt as the performance of Exynos 2100 is yet to be benchmarked by independent sources.

Samsung working closely with AMD for implementing new GPU tech in their Exynos chipsets

With the reveal of Exynos 2100 and its rumoured ground breaking improvements over the past generation is all well and good. Market is happy and consumers also. But there is one department where Qualcomm still holds the performance crown over Samsung’s Exynos and that is the Graphics department. Qualcomm’s Adreno series GPU always beat their ARM MALI counterparts. In simple worlds Qualcomm’s GPU’s are superior to Exynos one and hence offer more performance while running games.

Exynos SOC 2100 is finally here. All Specs revealed before the launch of next generation Galaxy S21 series tomorrow

Are you one of those Samsung smartphone fans who are angry with the company that they are not launching their flagship smartphones in Non-US countries with Qualcomm chipsets? Well there is no need to get angry anymore as we might be seeing the flipping of performance crowns between Samsung and Qualcomm once Samsung launches the Exynos 2100 series of SOC’s. It is expected to compete directly with the latest flagship chipset from Qualcomm that is Snapdragon 888 and happens to beat it in variety of scenarios as per the various rumours.

We now finally have the details of the Exynos 2100 SOC from Samsung itself as they are just 1 day away from launching their next flagship series that is Galaxy S21. The first point which we need to take care while discussing about the Exynos 2100 is that it offers a big improvement over the previous flagship Exynos chipset that is 990 (and its upgraded version featuring in Note 20 series). Samsung’s latest flagship smartphone Galaxy S21 is up for pre order in India

So this is the time of the year when Samsung usually launch their flagship Galaxy S series smartphones. Last year during this time only Samsung announced Galaxy S20 series which includes 3 smartphones namely Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra. Galaxy S20 Ultra being the flagship device and costliest among all. But just after the launch, the coronavirus pandemic hits the globe and thereby subduing all the pomp and show around the Galaxy S20 series launch. To add salt on that Samsung’s decision to launch Galaxy S20 series with their own Exynos series SOC in Europe and other parts of the world including India didn’t go well with the end user consumers who decided to skip the Galaxy S20 series altogether and go for cheaper Chinese version from companies like Xiaomi, Oppo etc.

Official India specific pricing revealed for Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 by Samsung

So truly speaking i have been waiting for this moment for quite a bit of time and i know many of you in India are also waiting for official price reveal of the new S20 series of smartphones by Samsung. The main reason for the wait is the 108 megapixel monster S20 Ultra.
