Nokia Lumia 800 is one of the best Windows Phone 7 smartphone available in the market today.With its crystal clear black display and high quality camera Lumia 800 was definitely a good buy but not any more. With only few days left before public launch of the Windows 8, i cannot find any particularly strong reason for buying the Lumia 800.
Nokia in order to clear the stock of their older Lumia phones which includes Lumia 800 and Lumia 900 offered these models on a discounted price. This was first revealed in Europe but now this discount is available for Indian consumers also. Not all retailers are aware of this discount yet but with time they will come to know about this price change.
Among all the online retailers in India, Saholic is first one to update the price of Lumia 800. Presently it is listed at Rs. 18,867 on Saholic. They are also giving free Nokia purity headset by Monster worth Rs. 5,110 with Lumia 800. I really don’t know about the exact cost of these but if they are really priced at Rs. 5,110 then this is definitely a good deal. The initial price of Lumia 800 was Rs. 22,999.

Spec wise Lumia 800 is not that bad. It comes with 1.4 GHz CPU which is sufficient for daily tasks. Internal storage is 16 GB and RAM is 512 MB which will run most of the modern applications flawlessly. Primary camera is 8MP with HD video recording, dual LED flash and Carl Zeiss optics. Screen size is 3.7 inches AMOLED display which supports a resolution of 480 X 800.
