According to the various reports floating around the web world, Apple has officially announced that the latest version of their mobile operating system that is IOS 6 will not come with a pre loaded YouTube application. The reason stated for such a move is that their license for using Google technology has come to an end and hence they deleted the app from the future releases of their IOS operating system. Apple has also stated that Google is presently working on their own YouTube app for IOS and interested users will be able to download this app from IOS app marketplace in coming future.
Users running version any version of IOS except IOS 6 can continue to enjoy this free app but as soon as they upgrade their operating system to version 6 the app will be removed. However one can still enjoy watching YouTube on IOS 6 by using their Safari web browser which supports the mobile version of YouTube completely.
This move from Apple comes after their ongoing trial against Samsung. Few months back Apple had announced the removal of the Google Maps service from IOS 6 and replace it with their own map service.
