    AS per the report by Financial Times European Telecom companies are bulk ordering the so called nano SIM cards. A Nano SIM card is further 40 per cent smaller than present micro SIM card. Such a heavy order for the Nano SIM from European Telecom Companies can be attributed to the fact that Apple is going to launch the new iPhone 5 with next few months.

    The new iPhone will only support this Nano SIM card only. This new SIM card standard is proposed by Apple only. Other mobile manufacturers have also proposed different designs for the Nano SIM card the European Telecommunication Standards Institutes (ETSi) but they preferred to choose Apple design only.

    Apple’s design for Nano SIM is not backward compatible with the design of the Micro SIM card.

    now a new sim card
    WTH is this.
    Can it be made by deleting the extra portion around the micro Sim card
