Plain black display with mouse pointer in Windows 8 after Welcome Screen

windows 8 logoAs you all know that Microsoft has recently released the RTM version of Windows 8 to public. Windows 8 is the successor to the previous edition of Windows that is Windows 7. Windows 8 is the first operating system from Microsoft which brings the complete unification of PC, Smartphone and Tablet computers. It also brings the all new concept of Hybrid PC’s.

In spite of having so many good features, Windows 8 is plagued by one serious problem which can prove to be a nightmare to the one who experienced it, as there is no fixed solution for the same.

The problem is, that the display of your PC will go plain black with lone mouse pointer after the Welcome Screen. You will not be able to see anything of the start screen and desktop application. But you can still bring the Task Manager menu by pressing ctrl+alt+del but it is of no help as we cannot do anything from it to solve the problem. What particular thing is causing this problem is still unknown. You can search on Google to find that there are many users facing this weird problem with both laptops and assembled desktops. It may be related to graphic card driver but it is still not confirmed.

I have also faced the similar problem recently on my desktop PC and solved the same in a very unusual way. First i tried restarting the system multiple times to solve this problem but to no avail then afterwards i forced restart my PC by pressing the small button on my cabinet and voila! Windows 8 start to work again. If you are also facing the same problem then you can try this thing because there is no other fixed solution for it yet.
