Nokia planning to integrate 41MP Pure View sensor with Windows 8 smartphone

As per the latest reports floating around the web world, Nokia will soon integrate the 41 MP camera of Nokia 808 in a smartphone running the latest Windows 8 operating system. This phone will be codenamed EOS and is expected to launched exclusively for the North America’s AT&T network.

As you all know that Nokia 808 was the first smartphone to come with the latest PureView type camera sensor. The sensor is capable of clicking images at a resolution of 41MP and also allows for the capturing of more light for better image quality.

Irrespective of this great feature, Nokia 808 didn’t become that popular because of the obsolete operating system that is Symbian Belle OS.

Many analyst think that Nokia will be able to compete with the likes of Apple and Samsung in case they use this combination of Windows Phone 8 OS + $1MP PureView sensor.
