There is no doubt that iPhone 5 is a very good and reliable smartphone and is coming from a company whose market capitalization is more than the combined of both Google and Microsoft. Yes we are talking about Apple Inc. In spite of having so much of marketing and technical expertise Apple hardly have any market share in India. Whether it be laptops, music player, smart phones or tablets Apple is no where to be seen in a position as it is presently enjoying in USA and other western countries.

The main reason which attribute to the lower success rate of Apple in India is its high pricing of products. In India latest iPhone usually retails at Rs. 45,000+. This is definitely a high price for a device which has little to no productivity. Not only this, Apple usually launch their latest products in India at a very late stage thereby making them obsolete for many tech savvy users. In contrast to this, Samsung usually launch their latest gadgets in India at the same time as they are launched worldwide.

To spice up the already saturated smartphone market, Samsung has launched their latest and greatest smartphone Galaxy note 2 in India at a very competitive price tag of Rs. 39,990. Features of Notes 2 are nearly similar to Galaxy S3. Some of the salient features of this new device is listed below:

+ 1.6 GHz Quad Core Cortex A9 processor on an Exynos 4412 chipset
    + 2 GB RAM
    + MALI 400MP Graphic Chip

    + LTE/NFC
    + 180 gm in weight

The new Galaxy Note 2 is around Rs. 5,000 costlier than Galaxy S3 which makes it a very lucrative deal. S3 is currently retailing around Rs. 34,990.
