Your PS3 or XBOX 360 sucks more energy than you desktop PC

While reading an interesting article at the following website

i come to know that PS3 is sucking more electricity than your PS3, that too when PS3 is in just ON mode that is without playing video game.

Till now i was thinking that PS3 actually consumes less power as compared to my desktop simply due to the fact that my 800 KVA UPS is unable to handle load of my desktop but can run PS3 for 15 minutes. 🙂

Same is the case with me. My UPS is unable to handle desktop at all means that whenever a elctricity cut occurs my UPS get tripped but this never happens with my PS# even when i am playing a graphic loaded game like GTA 4

I seriously doubt the accuracy of the above website. They have not performed any experiment or measurement which can prove that PS3 consumes more power than a regular desktop.
