Apple IOS 6 is definitely a huge improvement over the previous OS. But the upgrade to the latest OS is not as smooth as expected by Apple. Some users from all over the world are facing various problems with new operating system. Some of the problems are lsited below:
+ Low resolution MAPS and wrong direction in new Maps app.
This problem is basically more prominent in countries other then USA. Most of the data for this new map app is provided by a company named TomTom. Earlier version of Apple IOS have Google Map as its main map application but from IOS 6 onwards Apple drops the Google’s Map application and introduce their own map app. Users from many European countries have reported about the poor resolution of the maps. They have also reported about lower accuracy of the this new app in telling the turn by turn directions. Not only this, some users have also reported that the new app does not provide schedule for the public transit facility which was provided by Google Maps.+ Poor battery life
Some users have also reported that after upgrading to the latest IOS 6 their smartphone’s battery is draining twice as fast as it used to drain with IOS 5.+ Problem in connecting to Wi Fi network
Some people reported about this issue on the official forum of Apple and Apple quickly fix this by releasing an update which users can install from their network.
