One of the feature which I like about Amazon is its Prime membership. For 999 rupees per year you are getting tons of features in the form of free delivery without minimum cart value, free 1 day delivery, discounted same day delivery, Amazon Music service and last but not least Amazon Prime. Because of this if I have to order something which is available on both Flipkart and Amazon, I would go with Amazon because of its amazingly fast service and genuineness of its prime sellers. And truly speaking most times product is priced lower at Amazon as compared to Flipkart.
Flipkart knows this problem very well but they simply can’t compete with established giants like Amazon. But times are changing and Flipkart has now come up with its own version of Amazon Prime in the form of Flipkart Plus. Flipkart is offering variety of benefits for Flipkart Plus costumers such as:

- Early access to sales like prime
- Priority customer support
- And this one is something unique to Flipkart Plus that it will be offering virtual coins on purchase of products from Flipkart. For e.g. you will get 1 coin for every Rs 250 spent and maximum of 10 coins per order. You can then use these coins at platforms such as BookMyShow, CCD, MakeMyTrip, Zomato, IXIGO and ChaiPoint.
The biggest thing is that joining Flipkart Plus is free!! For how long will it be free I don’t know. But enjoy till you can get it for free. I have already applied for one. There can be a scenario where you might not be getting the option for Flipkart Plus for free. It is because in one of the frequently asked question they have written that Flipkart is providing Plus service for no fee depending on your purchase history with Flipkart.
