Blackberry India MD Sunil Dutt resigns just after the launch of Z10 in India

Well something is definitely wrong at Blackberry’s Indian unit. According to the reports floating around the web world, Blackberry India MD Sunil Dutt resigns from his post. His resignation comes just few days after the much hyped up launch of Blackberry Z10 in India on 25th February. The exact reason for the resignation is still not known but this will definitely put Blackberry’s Indian operation on back foot.

Blackberry on 25th February launched the all new Blackberry Z10 smartphone in India. The new Z10 will feature the all new and improved BB10 operating system which is designed and developed by Blackberry to compete with Android and Apple IOS.

Blackberry Z10 features some serious hardware improvements as compared to Blackberry’s previous generation smartphones. The only negative point of Z10 is its price tag which stands at massive Rs. 43,450 which is even costlier than Rs. 42,500 price tag of Apple iPhone 5 on Snapdeal.

May be because of poor sales Sunil Dutt resigned from his position. Presently Rick Costanzo who holds the position of executive vice president of Global Sales will act as MD for Blackberry India till a suitable candidate is found for the position of MD.
