Out of the blue Namecheap decided to offer free whois privacy service for life

Domain registrars most of the times charge a hefty fee for complementary services such as WhoIs privacy which is used for masking public details of your domain name such as your name and address. In some cases the cost of WhoIs privacy service is more than the cost of the domain itself.

Truly speaking it is a very profitable venture for domain registrars. But this entire model got disrupted recently when EU (European Union) decided to go ahead with GDPR implementation in which it is illegal to publicly show someone’s personal information. This is particularly applicable for EU residents but it has made its impact beyond that. Registrars are now forced to show truncated version of whois to the public. So for end users like us it is a sort of free privacy forever.

Samsung to pack Galaxy Note 9 with 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of on board storage

Rumors as you all know are not to be trusted particularly if they are coming from a person behind the social networking site Twitter. But as the time passes these people behind the twitter started to gain prominence when their predictions started to become reality. After seeing that tweet I am also little bit shocked because of the fact that how Samsung can pack 8 GB RAM into such a small SOC but at the same time I am excited too as it will be boon for those apps which are RAM heavy. What will be its other specs? Well at this time we are not quite sure but stay tuned.

High end Android smartphones normally use Qualcomm SOC’s and in Samsung’s case Exynos SOC but in case Huawei it is using their in house developed SOC known as Kirin 970.
